Built by CURTISS-BRIGHT COMPANY in 1925, this rambling two story Pueblo-mission style house has a separate two story garage apartment: The second floor bedrooms of the house open on a
balcony overlooking a walled front courtyard. This was the second home built for LUA CURTISS and backs on the northern perimeter of the golf course. In later years (mid 1930's -1945), this was the residence of DR C.
ROY ANGELL and family. Dr. Angell was pastor of Central Baptist Church in Miami and a well-known author of religious books. Placed on the NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES in 1985. DESIGNATED MIAMI SPRINGS
HISTORIC SITE in 1989.
